With Genesis now a trio they decided for each member to put forward two songs and the remeainder they would write together. The result was an album the perfectly bridged their original prog rock sound and their arrival into the more pop-rock songs that would fill their albums going forward. This was no more true than the final two tracks on the album 'Dukes Travels & Dukes End.
