Placing an order

Whilst we endeavour to keep our site as up to date as possible Travelling the Groove Records do not guarantee that all items included in the Travelling the Groove website shop are in stock at the time of your order. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail to confirm future availability and a possible delivery date.

Although Travelling the Groove strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and web shop, errors may occur, we are only human after all. If you have been charged the wrong amount in the web shop, we will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or cancelling your order. Travelling the Groove, however, reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case we will notify you by email. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled.

We attempt to dispatch pre-ordered items for UK delivery on the day of release. This is possible most of the time, however it is dependent upon suppliers getting stock to us in advance of the release date.

You will be charged for everything in your order at the time you place the order.

Please complete all of the relevant boxes on the checkout pages, paying particular attention to the card number, expiry date and CVC number you submit on your order form. It's also necessary to provide a surname / last name and the address the card is registered at (Invoice Address) so we can verify your identity as the cardholder. There are a several security checks that it is necessary for us to perform in order to process credit / debit card orders when the customer is not present.

Our secure server encrypts all of your payment information (credit / debit card details, name and address) and transmits it securely over the internet using industry standard security techniques. While at the 'checkout' you will see a padlock in your browser indicating that the site is secure.

We are not responsible for orders which cannot be delivered due to a delivery address being incorrectly entered by you. The delivery address you enter on the order form will be shown in your confirmation email. This cannot be amended via the website, please contact us immediately if you have submitted an incorrect address.

Please provide an email address which is checked regularly. Email is the method we will use to confirm your order, send you your order number and contact you if there are any order problems. A phone number / additional info will help us process your order more quickly in case of queries and oddities. After submitting your order, we will send you an order confirmation email with your order number, details of the product you have ordered from us and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with tracking information and shipping address.

If you purchase a mixed selection of already released LP’s and new pre-order titles – we will typically hold your order until the last item is released. You can ask us to ship individually, however, this may include additional costs. Contact us at info@travellingthegroove.com for more delivery information.

Similarly, please note if you require your order by a specific date. We cannot guarantee this date, but we will endeavour to fulfil this request.

As a customer, it is your responsibility to ensure you supply the correct email and delivery address for your order. Should any item not arrive or be returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete postal address supplied on your order form, we will not be held liable for non-delivery. You will be liable for all re-delivery or return postage expenses incurred by us due to the incorrect address being supplied. In this situation an order can only be re-delivered if you pay all additional postage charges incurred by us.
