Abacab is the eleventh studio album from Genesis, originally released in September 1981 via Charisma records.
Written and recorded at their new purpose built studio at Fisher lane Farm, in Surrey, the album was a new direction for the band, with deliberate attempts to avoid sounding like previous Genesis albums, moving in a more pop-orientated style. The album went on to become their second #1 LP on the UK album charts.
