Outside (also known as The nathan Adler Diaries: A hyper-cycle) is a concept album created in conjunction with Brian Eno, whom Bowie had worked with previously in the 1970's. The album follows the story of detective Natahn Adler, in the fictional town of New jersey, as he investigates the murder of a young child.
