Melody's Echo Chamber is the work of Melody Prochet, released in September 2012, the self titled debut was recorded in collaboration with Kevin parker, of Tame Impala, at his makeshift studio in perth, Australia, and Prochet's grandmothers seaside home in the South of France.
Wanting to create something 'out of her comfort zone' Prochet took her original demos, and along with Parker, pulled them apart and put them back to gether piece by piece, accompanied by swathes of synth and electronica, rolling drum samples, strings and ever flowing vocals.
The 10th anniversary double edition includes the original debut album on orange vinyl, a lyric booklet plus a special album called Unfold, featuring demos from recording sessions in 2013 for her subsequently scrapped sophmore album.
