Utilising recent advances in machine learning technologies, the existing vocal part has been painstakingly restored and enhanced to reveal previously unheard levels of clarity and depth. The result is an emotive, atmospheric album, familiar yet different, lush soundscapes accompanying pristine vocals.
The album is being released on the 60th anniversary of Eva Cassidy’s birth and features redefining orchestral versions of classic repertoire including Songbird, the album’s title track, a radical reworking of a little-known Stevie Wonder penned song, Eva Cassidy’s musical idol, Time After Time, Autumn Leaves and Ain't No Sunshine.
