Mary in the junkyard’s stellar reputation grew rapidly after a series of rowdy live performances in London last year, with over 20 of those being at Brixton’s Windmill, as well as Green Man and End of the Road festivals, before they released their debut track “Tuesday” to rave reviews across the UK music press. In 2024 they released “Ghost”, a song that cemented their ones-to-watch reputation, along with their first magazine cover with So Young and new press support from Fader, dazed and i-d, they entered into regular rotation on BBC Radio 1 , as well as being B-Listed at BBC 6Music.
