Product Description
In 2010 the cinematic orchestra were next in line to release their own late night tales mix - the first late night release of the year and 24th overall in the ongoing series. Cinematic orchestra dug deep into their personal record boxes to creat a mix featuring cuts from flying lotus, Nick Drake, Shuggie Otis, DJ food, Bjork, Thom Yorke, Burial and Steve Reich. Also includes an exclusive Cinematic orchestra cover version of the Fontella Bass cult classic 'Talking About Freedom'.
The idea behind the late night mixes is to showcase songs and artists who influenced the featured artist or dj; while the tracks chosen are usually varied in style and age, they often have a common thread - just as any good mix tape should.
Limited collectors edition, half spped remastering, pressed on virgin 180g heavyweight vinyl.
