UMR/Mercury are pressing phase two of Metallica’s studio album back catalogue on limited edition custom coloured vinyl
First Metallica album produced by Rick Rubin, rather than Bob Rock. Due for release in September 2008, a store in France started selling the album 10 days early, resulting in the album appearing online, forcing the bands record label to bring forward the official realease. Despie the early release the album debuted at number one in several countries around the world.
Metallica’s tenth album, Death Magnetic (2008), will be pressed on 140g ‘Magnetic Silver’ limited edition coloured vinyl.
