Blur's fourth album The Great Escape has now been remastered from the original tapes by Frank Arkwright, with the remastering overseen by legendary original producer, Stephen Street.
Originally released in 1995 'The Great Escape' went straight into #1 in the UK album charts, and less than a year later was certified as triple platinum in the UK. The album was buoyed by a stretch of hit singles including 'Country House', which was Blur's very first UK number one, 'The Universal', 'Stereotypes' and 'The Charmless man', all of which charted in the top 10 of the UK singles chart.
